Inspired
I was the kind of child that played in the rain, enjoyed my mom's little urban garden, collected flowers and took in deep breaths of an autumn breeze. As an adult I tend to spend a lot of time indoors taking care of my family, but still get excited when a storm approaches with billowing clouds and a cool wind. I don't want to lose that childlike wonder.
I am always trying to find the right voice to express that very wonder. It's a process and I try to get closer with each piece.

When I decided to start selling my work I knew I wanted to donate to a worthy cause with a bit of my profits. I found that cause with the Poor Clare's. Because they are cloistered, I don't actually get to see them. But going to Mass at their monastery has been a big blessing.

Over the years I've realized that the best way to connect is not through screens but in person.
I do my best to make myself available at local markets to interact with those who share interests and support artists like myself.
